ABOUT ME
Until about a year ago, I had been a chronic dieter for over 20 years, and had tried every diet under the sun. I would lose weight and then regain it once I couldn't sustain the diet any longer. I struggled endlessly with binge eating and overeating, and food, dieting, vigorous exercise and negative body image ruled my life.

Having worked in music education and the arts for over 10 years, I decided to follow another passion of mine and qualified with an Advanced Diploma in Personal Training with YMCA fit in October 2014. I am passionate about, and have experienced first hand the benefits exercise can have on physical and mental well-being.

While I was studying to be a personal trainer, I met some people along the way who helped me realise there was another way to live life which didn't involve endlessly counting calories, spending every waking hour in the gym or worrying about not being thin enough. I then decided to put my struggles with food and body image to good use, and studied with the Institute for the Psychology of Eating to be an Eating Psychology Coach.

I feel so fortunate to have turned my relationship with food and my body around, and am passionate about supporting others to realise there really IS another way to live life.

I am a real person, with real body fat. I don't profess to have a 'perfect' body or the 'perfect diet'. I do, however, have a passion for supporting other people with their struggles with food, weight and body image.
